Lovely rice bowls, the regular portions are really big and usually I have across two meals. Have tried the katsu curry, Korean spicy chicken and sweet and sour chicken, all very nice. The sushi is also nice but not a huge fan of anything with the salmon in it, to me it tastes super metallic. I got the chicken ramen once which really wasn’t great. The broth was very plain with not much seasoning, the udon noodles didn’t taste great. So I just picked out the chicken. Would recommend the rice bowls though.
My first time in this chain and it presents itself very much like the other fast food chains, but with Japanese/Korean food instead. So it's not fancy (tidy and relatively clean considering it's clientele of teens when we visited ) but that's absolutely fine because we wanted a swift lunch . The food was nice, our table had 2 x katsu curry's snd I had the sushi and was tasty.The fruit Boba teas were both pretty sweet. Staff were all very pleasant. I would go back as a nice change from a sandwich for lunch!
The man behind the counter was beyond generous with the portions, was lovely to my friend and I, and took his time making our drink (a quality I always appreciate when matcha is involved) incredible prices for what you get. 10/10 recommend x
Absolutely love this place! The service is always top-notch, and the food is delicious every time. I’m a big fan of the sushi — so fresh and tasty! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!!
I love going to Kokoro as the staff are friendly. However, the food can be so hit and miss! If you don’t get the noodles fresh they can be quite dry, so I always go for rice instead. They have been over packing the rice recently and leaving only a small section for the main section of choice! Another thing is the Katsu Salad, twice now they have been out of the ingredients it should contain!!! My salad was just a bottom filled with carrot!!! No salad at all. They hid this by putting more chicken. Don’t put out a product if you don’t have what it should contain! Been a little disappointed recently.
